A gig at Exeter Phoenix on 25th April, 2018 marked the launch of Skeptileptic. It wasn’t the usual album unveiling, there were 60 second science bites, snappy one minute talks featuring Zion Lights, Science Mum on the Voyager missions & the importance of songs inspired by science.

Astrophysicist Chris Burridge-Barney wowed with interesting facts about supernovae. Anna Jones’s lush support set featured piano, voice and cajon.

Several tracks from the album were played live, with guitar and backing or just piano and voice. Fairy Lights had exoplanet-themed narration from Zion Lights in the choruses. There were also brand new songs, videos and a  presentation describing the five-year story of Skeptileptic’s creation.

If you missed the chance to be at the Exeter launch and pick up an advance copy of the CD, you can order Skeptileptic here for next-day posting.
