Songs of Summer – 16th June – Sylvania Hall

Mincinglake Valley Park

What could be easier, on a Saturday evening, a few days before the Summer solstice, than to head down to Sylvania Hall, Exeter, EX4 7DR in Mincinglake Valley Park to listen to some sweet music and intriguing songs? The amazing Anna Jones and I will be providing the entertainment and there will be snacks available; tea, coffee and squash. And you are welcome to bring your own wine or beer.

Just turn up at 7pm on Sat 16th June. If you can please tick ‘Going’ on the Facebook event so we can get an idea of numbers and guarantee your seat in case we are oversubscribed. Or send a quick message. But if you can’t get round to this, we’ll hopefully see you there anyway. And do tell your friends about it.

With the initial launches of my debut album Skeptileptic complete, this is a great time to air more recent songs. Thank you for all the wonderful feedback on the album though. With your help I’ll be giving it a further promotion push soon, to reach an even wider audience.

But for now life moves on apace and there are so many post debut-album songs to air, written from 2015 right up to the present day. Grandpa Was A Mason (recently revised), Low Status Male, All The Dancers, Human and more. Plus a couple of old favourites like Raincheck and highlights from the album. I look forward to sharing all of this with you on Saturday 16th. And Anna’s sets will be fabulous. It’s going to be fun, see you there 🙂

By the way this is the first of the Stoke Hill Sessions, a way for me and others to present intimately curated new material on a timely basis. Like the page for updates and/or join my mailing list.
